ABOUT THE GALLERY
Since 1999, Division 9 Gallery has been a welcoming safe space to a diverse community of artists and supporters. Founder and Artistic Director, Cosmé Cordova, has created collaborations with artists for group shows, non-profits, organizations and businesses. Division 9 Gallery is focused on exhibiting original artwork and features different styles of expression, included; painting, sculpture, installations, photography, and mixed media. For years, our staff has worked closely with prestigious museums and private curators to feature pieces by artists we represent into some of the most admired public and private collections in the art world. We’re dedicated to representing our artists and their work in the best possible way. Their success is our success.
ABOUT THE EVENTS
With over 30 years of experience in Festivals and Event coordination, Div 9 Events has become a pillar in the arts community in the City of Riverside, spearheading a great majority of the celebrations within our community. Some of the most recognized events founded by Division 9 Gallery and Div 9 Events include; The Riverside Day of the Dead, Riverside Arts Walk, ARTNIVAL, Bailarte, The Inland Empire Strikes Back, Artisans Collective & more.
Some of our collaborations have also included great organizations such as; The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture, Riverside Art Museum, Center for Social Justice & Civic Liberties, Urge Palette, Back to the Grind, Civic Rights Institute of Inland Southern California, Riverside Downtown Partnership, Riverside Art Council, Riverside Cultural Consortium, UCR, The City of Riverside, and many more.
